Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans of the Face
Ear, Nose & Throat Journal, 2023 Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a locally aggressive tumor with high rate of local recurrence but low metastatic potential. Its high-grade fibrosarcomatous variant and occurrence on the head and neck are rare findings associated with increased morbidity and mortality.

Neuropathology and Applied Neurobiology, Volume 52, Issue 5, October 2026.We report a case of primary intramedullary infantile fibrosarcoma (IFS) in a 4‐week‐old infant with rapidly progressive cervical myelopathy. Histology showed a spindle cell tumour with diffuse S100 and pan‐TRK expression. RNA sequencing identified an RBPMS::NTRK3 fusion.

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans of the vulva
Gynecologic Oncology, 1991 Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans of the vulva is an uncommon low-grade sarcoma of dermal origin. Although wide local excision is the treatment of choice, microscopic tumor projections beyond the central tumor nodule explain the tumors' propensity for local recurrence. Frozen sections of margins may be useful to ensure complete resection.
