Dermatology, 1984The advantages and disadvantages of oral treatment of dermatomycosis is discussed, particularly with regard to griseofulvin and ketoconazole as examples. The advantages versus topical treatment are better efficacy, better compliance, and oral treatment is possibly more economical.
