The Color Atlas of Dermatoscopy sets out to illustrate the principles of the use of the dermatoscope for the evaluation of pigmented skin lesions. The dermatoscope is a relatively new diagnostic tool, the use of which should increase the clinician's ability to preoperatively assess the malignant potential of any skin lesion.
