Crossover between the Dense Electron-Hole Phase and the BCS Excitonic Phase in Quantum Dots [PDF]

open access: yesInt. J. Mod. Phys. B. 14 (2000) 71-83, 1998
Second order perturbation theory and a Lipkin-Nogami scheme combined with an exact Monte Carlo projection after variation are applied to compute the ground-state energy of $6\le N\le 210$ electron-hole pairs confined in a parabolic two-dimensional quantum dot. The energy shows nice scaling properties as N or the confinement strength is varied.

Electronic Raman scattering in quantum dots revisited [PDF]

open access: yesSolid State Commun. 135 (2005) 554 -562, 2005
We present theoretical results concerning inelastic light (Raman) scattering from semiconductor quantum dots. The characteristics of each dot state (whether it is a collective or single-particle excitation, its multipolarity, and its spin) are determined independently of the Raman spectrum, in such a way that common beliefs used for level assignments ...

Selection and jump rules in electronic Raman scattering from GaAs/Al_{x}Ga_{1-x}As artificial atoms [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. B 71 (2005) 241311 (R), 2005
A theoretical description of electronic Raman scattering from GaAs/Al_{x}Ga_{1-x}As artificial atoms under the influence of an external magnetic field is presented. Raman spectra with laser excitation energy in the interval E_{gap}-30 meV to E_{gap} are computed in the polarized and depolarized geometry.

Contribución de la semántica combinatoria al desarrollo de herramientas digitales multilingües [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
This paper describes how the field of Combinatorial Semantics has contributed to the design of three prototypes for the automatic generation of argument patterns in nominal phrases in Spanish, French and German (Xera, Combinatoria and CombiContext). It also shows the importance of knowing about the argument syntactic-semantic interface in a production ...

Dispersive spherical optical model of neutron scattering from Al27 up to 250 MeV [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev. C65 (2002) 034616, 2001
A spherical optical model potential (OMP) containing a dispersive term is used to fit the available experimental database of angular distribution and total cross section data for n + Al27 covering the energy range 0.1- 250 MeV using relativistic kinematics and a relativistic extension of the Schroedinger equation.

Desarrollo sostenible y desarrollo solidario

open access: yesComunicar, 2000

First Record of Helicoverpa armigera (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) in Argentina [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Debido a la reciente detección de Helicoverpa armigera en Brasil y Paraguay en 2013, se colocaron trampas de feromonas en el cultivo de garbanzo en dos localidades de la provincia de Tucumán para detectar la presencia de este noctuido en Argentina.

Universality in the Energy Spectrum of Medium-Sized Quantum Dots [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. B 78 (2008) 205320, 2008
In a two-dimensional parabolic quantum dot charged with $N$ electrons, Thomas-Fermi theory states that the ground-state energy satisfies the following non-trivial relation: $E_{gs}/(\hbar\omega)\approx N^{3/2} f_{gs}(N^{1/4}\beta)$, where the coupling constant, $\beta$, is the ratio between Coulomb and oscillator ($\hbar\omega$) characteristic energies,

Quality and Technological Properties of Gluten-Free Biscuits Made with Pachyrhizus ahipa Flour as a Novel Ingredient [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The development of gluten-free foodstuffs with high nutritional quality components is an important objective to achieve. Pachyrhizus ahipa is one of the few leguminous species that produce edible tuberous roots with high nutritional value.
