14‐3‐3σ up‐regulation in the temporal cortex associates with tau pathology and reactive astroglia in Lewy body disorders

Rapid generation of prion disease models using AAV‐delivered PrP variants in knockout mice

We developed a rapid AAV‐based system to generate prion disease models in weeks rather than months. Following systemic AAV9P31 delivery of modified PrP to knockout mice, we achieved brain‐wide expression and successful propagation of both classical (RML) and atypical (GSS‐A117V) prion strains.

Divergence in μ and δ opioid receptor pharmacology in neurons and antinociceptive efficacy in neuropathic pain: Insights from MP135 and CYM51010

Enhancing antitumour response to proteasome inhibitors with inhibitors of insulin‐degrading enzyme, a new molecular vulnerability in multiple myeloma

Inhibitors of insulin‐degrading enzyme boost PI cytotoxicity through an increased sensitivity of proteasome to PI inhibitors, induction of ISR, DNA damage and Myc down‐regulation. They overcome PI resistance in vitro and induce tumour regression in vivo.

Using miniaturized laboratory equipment and DNA barcoding to improve conservation genetics training and identify illegally traded species

Abstract Illegal wildlife trade (IWT) is one of the largest global illegal activities, and it negatively affects biodiversity and sustainable development worldwide.
