Management of Descemet’s membrane detachment
Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, 1995Detachment of Descemet's membrane is a rare but serious complication of cataract surgery. Most surgeons attempt to reposition the membrane by injecting air, slow-reabsorbing gases, or viscoelastic substances into the anterior chamber. We describe five cases of subtotal detachment without rolled scroll.

Retrocorneal Membrane With Descemet's Detachment
Cornea, 2001To describe a unique case of retrocorneal membrane with large Descemet's detachment.Case report of a 65-year-old man reported intermittent cloudy vision in his left eye. The patient underwent serial ocular examinations and slit-lamp photography over 6 weeks. The patient had an inflammatory-appearing membrane that covered 60% of the posterior cornea ...

Transplantation of endothelium and Descemet's membrane
Vestnik oftal'mologii, 2019Nowadays, endothelial keratoplasty has become an alternative to penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) in the management of corneal endothelial dysfunction. Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) is a relatively new corneal transplantation surgery technique suited for patients with endothelial insufficiency, an increasing number of surgeons are ...

Treatment of Descemet's Membrane Detachment
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1985To the Editor. —The article by Hoover et al,1"Descemet's Membrane Detachment by Sodium Hyaluronate," in the June 1985 issue of theArchivesinterested me, especially because they also discussed treatment of Descemet's membrane detachment. I described a successful method for repositioning and repair of Descemet's membrane detachment in the January ...
