Machine Learning for Predictive Modeling in Nanomedicine‐Based Cancer Drug Delivery

open access: yesMed Research, Volume 2, Issue 1, Page 130-156, March 2026.
The integration of AI/ML into nanomedicine offers a transformative approach to therapeutic design and optimization. Unlike conventional empirical methods, AI/ML models (such as classification, regression, and neural networks) enable the analysis of complex clinical and formulation datasets to predict optimal nanoparticle characteristics and therapeutic

Survey on Faecal Microbiota Transplantation and Probiotic Use in Equine Practice in France and Belgium

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 2, March 2026.
A survey of 96 equine veterinarians in France and Belgium revealed widespread therapeutic use of probiotics (82.1%) and faecal microbiota transplantation (76.0%). Knowledge gaps persisted, with 16.7% misidentifying non‐probiotic products and only 22.5% performing donor testing before FMT.

Interpretable Machine Learning: A Comprehensive Review of Foundations, Methods, and the Path Forward

open access: yesWIREs Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, Volume 16, Issue 1, March 2026.
This systematic review of 352 studies establishes a comprehensive taxonomy for Interpretable Machine Learning, transitioning from foundational intrinsic models to advanced deep learning explanations. It reveals a critical paradigm shift toward “mechanistic interpretability” and actionable recourse, emphasizing that future AI systems must be rigorously ...

Fault Kinematics of the 2019–2026 Puerto Rico Earthquake Sequence: Conjugate Faulting Within a Zone of Oblique Subduction

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract The 2019–2026 southwestern Puerto Rico earthquake sequence has the characteristics of an earthquake swarm with over 9,000 events of Mw 2.5 or greater over an area of 1,500 km2, and the largest event is an Mw 6.4 on 7 January 2020. Previous studies have proposed two structural interpretations: (a) an E‐striking, N‐dipping normal fault hosting ...

Measuring MAN (incorporating JRAI): Computational anthropological analysis and quantitative speculation

open access: yesJournal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, Volume 32, Issue 1, Page 32-54, March 2026.
Abstract In this paper, we present a foray into the computational study of anthropological texts. Drawing on a corpus of approximately 2,500 articles published in the Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute (formerly Man) from 1950 to 2018, we discuss selected findings from the deployment of two methods for computational text analysis, namely ...
