Hourly Precipitation Intensities at 4‐km Resolution Show Statistically Significant Increasing Trends From 1991 to 2022 in the CONUS‐404 Hydroclimate Reanalysis

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 20, 28 October 2025.
Abstract Trends in hourly and daily precipitation statistics are studied using the CONUS‐404 hydroclimate reanalysis at 4‐km spatial resolution over the 1991–2022 period. Only a small fraction of CONUS shows statistically significant trends in the annual precipitation volume, number of wet days and mean wet‐day intensity.

Conceptual Design and Numerical Simulation of a Novel Main Wing Controllable Lift Structure for an Underwater Glider

International Conference on Fluid Power and Mechatronics, 2023
Borrowing from the appendage structure design in the aeronautics research field, this paper applies the Gurney flaps structure to the underwater glider with the design purpose of improving the lift-to-drag ratio. Firstly, we verified the lift enhancement
