A generator coordinate description of the breathing mode
Abstract Isoscalar and isovector breathing mode states in 16 O and 208 Pb are described in the generator coordinate method. The MDI 4-force, which yields a nuclear matter compressibility of K N = 200 MeV in agreement with realistic forces and a symmetry energy of S N = 32.8 MeV, was used.

ABSTRACT Background Neurotoxicity is a rare, often dose‐limiting adverse effect of methotrexate (MTX) therapy that disproportionally affects Latino children. Factors contributing to the observed disparity are not well understood. This study leveraged admixture mapping to identify genetic regions associated with MTX‐related neurotoxicity susceptibility ...

A similar for ∆1 problem for the second order hyperbolic equation in the 3D euclidean space
The second-order hyperbolic type equation is considered in the 3D Euclidean space. Boundary value problem is posed in the infinite cylindrical region bounded by the characteristic surfaces of this equation with data on the related characteristic surfaces ...

Collective coordinates for the description of nuclear rotations
Abstract We introduce collective and intrinsic coordinates in terms of which there exist many-body wave functions separable into one factor that describes the rotation of the system as a whole and another the residual intrinsic structure.

Multi-Scale Quantitative Direction-Relation Matrix for Cardinal Directions
Existing qualitative direction-relation matrix models employ rigid classification schemes, limiting their ability to differentiate directional relationships between multiple targets within the same directional tile.

ABSTRACT Background Animal‐assisted activities (AAAs) with therapy dogs have shown positive effects on patient well‐being and quality of life in various areas of medicine, including pediatric oncology. However, research on this topic is limited. The aim of this study is to present the current status of AAA in pediatric oncology in Germany, Austria, and
