Disturbance attenuation problem using a differential game approach for feedback linear quadratic descriptor systems

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2015
This paper studies the H∞ disturbance attenuation problem for index one descriptor systems using the theory of differential games. To solve this disturbance attenuation problem the problem is converted into a reduced ordinary zero-sum game.

Computation of Positive Realizations for Descriptor Linear Discrete-time Systems [PDF]

open access: yesTransNav, 2019
A new method for computation of positive realizations of given transfer matrices of descriptor linear discrete-time linear systems is proposed. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive realizations of transfer matrices are given.

Robust Local Regularity and Controllability of Uncertain TS Fuzzy Descriptor Systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
The robust local regularity and controllability problem for the Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy descriptor systems is studied in this paper. Under the assumptions that the nominal TS fuzzy descriptor systems are locally regular and controllable, a sufficient ...

Divisibility of the Second–Order Minors of the Nominators by Minimal Denominators of Transfer Matrices of Cyclic Fractional Linear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2021
The divisibility of the second-order minors of the numerators of transfer matrices by their minimal denominators for cyclic fractional linear systems is analyzed. It is shown that all nonzero second-order minors of the numerators of the transfer matrices

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

Ovarian Sex Cord Stromal Tumors in Children and Adolescents—The European Standard Clinical Practice Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As part of the European Cooperative Study Group for Paediatric Rare Tumours initiative, we developed standard clinical practice guidelines for ovarian sex cord stromal tumors, based on comprehensive national and international cohort analyses, literature review, and a final expert consensus conference.

Acute Neurological Events in Children With Hemoglobin SC Disease: A Multicenter Retrospective Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Neurological manifestations in children with hemoglobin SC (HbSC) disease remain insufficiently characterized, particularly regarding acute events. The aim of this study was to describe the spectrum and frequency of acute neurological events in a multicenter cohort of children with HbSC disease.

Infant Embryonal CNS Tumors: Molecular Insights and Treatment Considerations for Contemporary Pediatric Neuro‐Oncology

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Embryonal tumors comprise the majority of malignant central nervous system (CNS) neoplasms diagnosed in children under 3 years of age. Compared with their counterparts in older children, these tumors exhibit distinct molecular biology and a more aggressive clinical phenotype, while their management is complicated by the heightened ...

Dissipativity-Based Stability Analysis of Networked Nonlinear Descriptor Systems and Its Application to Power Grids

open access: yesSICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration, 2019
This paper pursues to construct a theoretical framework which can efficiently capture the dynamics of large-scale heterogeneous power grids. We formulate a networked nonlinear descriptor system consisting of subsystems and network system as a ...

Neuropsychological and Educational Outcomes in Shwachman–Diamond Syndrome—A Report From the North American Shwachman–Diamond Syndrome Registry

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Shwachman–Diamond syndrome (SDS) is a rare autosomal recessive ribosomopathy characterized by bone marrow failure and multisystem involvement, with emerging evidence of associated neurocognitive impairment. Methods We conducted a retrospective study of 240 individuals with biallelic Shwachman–Bodian–Diamond syndrome (SBDS) mutations
