Ru Nanoparticles Supported on Mesoporous Al‐SBA‐15 Catalysts for Highly Selective Hydrogenation of Furfural to Furfuryl Alcohol

In this study, we introduce a catalytic system (3 % Ru/Al‐SBA‐15) that can efficiently convert furfural into furfural alcohol under mild reaction conditions. The use of this catalytic system allows for a more environmentally friendly and sustainable approach to furfural conversion.
