ABSTRACT Jabuticaba (Plinia cauliflora), a Brazilian berry rich in phenolic compounds and anthocyanins, shows antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory potential, but the instability and low bioavailability of these bioactive compounds limit their use, highlighting extraction and microencapsulation as preservation strategies.
