Operando Detection of Lithium Plating and Stripping in Fast‐Charging Li‐Ion Cells with a Reference Electrode

In this study, a referenceelectrode is incorporated into cells to investigate aging under differentcharging regimes. The results show that fast charging leads to lithiumplating, which can be detected by changes in the incremental capacity profileand post‐mortem analysis.
