Journal of Biophotonics, Volume 19, Issue 3, March 2026.We demonstrate that NIR photobiomodulation can influence PpIX accumulation in normal human skin. Although subject to interindividual variability, the observed trends support PBM as a promising, noninvasive adjuvant to refine PDT protocols and manage photosensitizer production through mitochondrial stimulation.

The documented laboratory changes support early therapeutic planning. Acid‐base correction and toxin removal highlight the efficacy of IHD, while the progression of anaemia and hypoalbuminaemia requires continued monitoring.

Animal–Plant Interactions Under Defaunation: Consequences for Amazonian Trees of Commercial Interest
Biotropica, Volume 58, Issue 2, March 2026.We experimentally investigated the effects of medium‐ and large‐sized mammal defaunation on the removal and fate of seeds from economically important forest species in Amazonian forests. Our results show that mammal exclusion significantly reduced seed removal, although the magnitude of this effect varied among plant species.
