β‐Elemene Rescues Radiation‐Induced Enteritis by Orchestrating a Host‐Microbiome Circuit That Fuels Epigenetic DNA Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study elucidates that β‐elemene promotes cellular uptake of L. gasseri‐derived lactate by enhancing the membrane translocation of MCT1 in a CD147‐dependent manner. Intracellular lactate, through the lactylation of RBBP4 at the K26 site, recruits EP300 to the promoter regions of downstream genes (POLD1/POLD3), catalyzing H3K27ac modification.

Deconstruction of a prefabricated concrete building designed for disassembly–cost comparison of deconstruction and demolition

open access: yesEnvironmental Research: Infrastructure and Sustainability
Design for disassembly (DfD) is a suggested concept for enhancing circular economy in the construction sector. To expand the usage of the DfD concept, and especially promote the markets for DfD components, more detailed cost analysis is required of each ...

Integrative Multi‐Omics Analysis Reveals a Mitochondrial–Immune Axis Associated With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Response in High‐Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrative multi‐omics analysis delineates a mitochondrial–immune axis governing neoadjuvant chemotherapy response in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer. Immune‐active tumors exhibit enhanced B‐cell infiltration and favorable sensitivity, whereas metabolically rewired tumors display oxidative phosphorylation dependency and resistance.

TME/NIR Dual‐Responsive Zinc‐Based Targeted Nanoagonist for Multimodal Amplification of STING‐Mediated Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional nanoagonist (cDZ@IP) enables nano‐metabolite–driven multimodal activation of the STING pathway and enhanced immune recognition, achieving potent antitumor immunity and suppressing tumor growth and metastasis. This strategy highlights the rational design of therapeutic metabolites and establishes a new paradigm bridging nanomedicine ...

Design for Disassembly Strategies in Panelized Light Timber Framing: Analysis of Solutions Through Reuse and Recycling Potential Indices

open access: yesBuildings
Design for Disassembly (DfD) is often assessed theoretically, with limited empirical evaluation of operational effort at the component level. This paper proposes an empirical assessment framework to evaluate DfD strategies in panelized light timber ...

Biofilm‐Binding Phages Enhance Biofilm Eradication by Synergistic Photothermal and Photodynamic Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Engineered phage‐based trifunctional nanofibers are developed for synergistic biofilm eradication. Biofilm‐binding phages, armed with AuNPs and TCPP, serve as both warheads and scaffolds, endowing the phototherapy agents with biofilm‐anchoring ability. Upon light irradiation, AuNPs induce photothermal therapy, while TCPP generates 1O2 for photodynamic ...
