MR Safe Robotic Manipulator for MRI-Guided Intracardiac Catheterization
This paper introduces a robotic manipulator to realize robot-assisted intracardiac catheterization in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environment. MRI can offer high-resolution images to visualize soft tissue features such as scars or edema.

Gold bipyramids can act as efficient plasmonic nanoheaters, but they often reshape during laser heating. This study shows that oxygen nanobubbles drive oxidative etching and that surface ligands control stability. CTAB‐ and citrate‐coated particles blunt and lose optical performance, whereas polystyrene sulfonate preserves shape and heating by ...

Race, resources, and representation: Evidence from Brazilian politicians
What explains the persistence of racial or ethnic inequalities in political representation, in the absence of strongly politicized racial or ethnic cleavages? This paper uses new data to demonstrate a substantial racial gap between voters and politicians

Metachromatic Butterfly Bile Pigments for Multi‐Level Optical Security Films
Bio‐derived optical security materials are manufactured by embedding butterfly‐based pigments in polymer films. Tunable color and fluorescence responses arise from concentration‐controlled metachromasy, enabling spatially encoded patterns with distinct visible, UV‐active, and spectral signatures.

Design of Multilayer Insulation for the Multipurpose Hydrogen Test Bed [PDF]
Multilayer insulation (MLI) is a critical component for future, long term space missions. These missions will require the storage of cryogenic fuels for extended periods of time with little to no boil-off and MLI is vital due to its exceptional radiation

This work presents a rate‐adaptive site transformation strategy in Ag‑ethylenediamine intercalated Co9S8, which not only enables parallel water dissociation and H* adsorption, but also allows the catalyst to provide more active sites under high demand, removing a major bottleneck. The catalyst achieves a record current density of 4.2 A cm−2@2.0 V, with

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

Lunar Dust Effects on Spacesuit Systems: Insights from the Apollo Spacesuits [PDF]
Systems and components of selected Apollo A7L/A7LB flight-article spacesuits that were worn on the lunar surface have been studied to determine the degree to which they suffered contamination, abrasion and wear or loss of function due to effects from ...
