Netfox detective: A novel open-source network forensics analysis tool
Digital Investigation. The International Journal of Digital Forensics and Incident Response, 2020Network forensics is a major sub-discipline of digital forensics which becomes more and more important in an age where everything is connected. In order to cope with the amounts of data and other challenges within networks, practitioners require powerful

Fourth International Conference on Information Technology (ITNG'07), 2007
The purpose of this paper is to develop an algorithm for denoising images corrupted with additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) with a view to extract object's boundary. The noise degrades quality of the images and makes interpretations, analysis and segmentation of images harder.

Detection of Novel Secondary Metabolites
Critical Reviews in Biotechnology, 1991The study of antibiotics and other fermentation products has shown that a seemingly unlimited number of compounds with diverse structures are produced by microorganisms. The continued high rate of discovery of new chemical entities, in the light of the abundance of microbial products already described, is due to creative screening procedures that ...

Novel Intrusion Detection System
2021Wireless networks are the foundation of modern communication. This also leads to network data hijacking and network attacks. Despite the fact that different databases and methods exist to combat this, the network intrusion problem is still on the rise. To address this, the proposed research work introduces a faster and better Intrusion Detection System

Several non-invasive and novel aids for the detection of (and in some cases monitoring of) caries lesions have been introduced in the field of 'caries diagnostics' over the last 15 years. This chapter focusses on those available to dentists at the time of writing; continuing research is bound to lead to further developments in the coming years.

This paper shows a new scheme for vehicle speed detection. The LNB (Low Noise Block) used in mw satellite receivers is modified to act as the heart of the hand gun transceiver. An original control circuitry is suggested to make the radar detector user friendly and to inform the vehicle of its speed status.

Novel luminescent nanoparticles for DNA detection
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2010Highly luminescent LaF(3):Ce(3+)/Tb(3+) nanocrystals were successfully prepared and surface functionalized via Layer-by-Layer technology. These as-prepared nanocrystals are highly resistant to photobleaching and pretty dispersible in aqueous solution.

Novel developments in rapid mycotoxin detection
Mycotoxin Research, 2006Rapid antibody-based mycotoxin screening techniques are designed to be used outside a laboratory environment, at the place of sampling. Results are expected immediately, so that commodities can be further processed without delay. Because they are used for mycotoxin analysis, very low levels (ppb and ppt range) should be detected.
