A parametrised choice principle and Martin's conjecture on Blackwell determinacy
MLQ, 2006We define a parametrised choice principle PCP which (under the assumption of the Axiom of Blackwell Determinacy) is equivalent to the Axiom of Determinacy. PCP describes the difference between these two axioms and could serve as a means of proving Martin's conjecture on the equivalence of these axioms. (© 2006 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)

THE TAYLOR PRINCIPLE AND (IN-) DETERMINACY WITH HIRING FRICTIONS AND SKILL LOSS
Macroeconomic Dynamics, 2014We introduce skill decay during unemployment into a New Keynesian model with hiring frictions and real-wage rigidity. Plausible values of quarterly skill decay and real-wage rigidity turn the long-run marginal cost–unemployment relationship positive in a “European” labor market with little hiring but not in a fluid “American” one.

From the standpoint of the Schroedinger equation in a quantum-mechanical analog, asymptotic nonuniqueness of the solution of the nonstationary Navier-Stokes equations, which leads to turbulence, is proved. The mean values, however, are found to be unique. A closed system of equations is found for them.

The Contextual Determinacy Principle: Reframing 0/0 in the Behavior of Functions
This paper introduces the Contextual Determinacy Principle (CDP), a preliminary proposal by Moises Santiago Villa (2025). The CDP reinterprets the traditional classification of 0/0 as "indeterminate," suggesting instead that when it arises within continuous functions, its value is contextually determined by the function’s local structure.openaire +1 more source
