We introduce a sharp trace \(\text{Tr}^\# {\mathcal M}\) and a sharp determinant \(\text{Det}^\#(1- z{\mathcal M})\) for an algebra of operators \(\mathcal M\) acting on functions of bounded variation on the real line. We show that the zeroes of the sharp determinant describe the discrete spectrum of \(\mathcal M\).

The Ramificant Determinant [PDF]
We give an introduction to the transalgebraic theory of simply connected log-Riemann surfaces with a finite number of infinite ramification points (transalgebraic curves of genus $0$). We define the base vector space of transcendental functions and establish by elementary means some transcendental properties.

Moving in the Dark: Enlightening the Spatial Population Ecology of European Cave Salamanders
We assessed individual interactions, movement ecology and activity patterns of a subterranean population of Speleomantes strinatii, applying spatial capture–recapture modeling to a photographic dataset of 104 individuals. ABSTRACT Space use and movement are fundamental aspects of organisms' ecology, mirroring individual fitness, behavior, and life ...

Determinant Theory of Quadri-Partitioned Neutrosophic Fuzzy Matrices and its Application to Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Problems [PDF]
We propose a refined method to compute the determinant of matrices with a higher number of rows and columns. Furthermore, an algorithm is developed to address decision-making problems based on QPNFMs.

Infection Models for Pine Wilt Disease on the Basis of Vector Behaviors
Infection models for pine wilt disease without vector density were built to estimate the transmission coefficient of the pathogenic nematode. The models successfully simulated the annual change in the density of infected trees for four pine stands. ABSTRACT Pine wilt disease is caused by the pinewood nematode (Bursaphelenchus xylophilus Steiner et ...

Bounds for the Second Hankel Determinant of Certain Univalent Functions
The estimates for the second Hankel determinant a_2a_4-a_3^2 of analytic function f(z)=z+a_2 z^2+a_3 z^3+...b for which either zf'(z)/f(z) or 1+zf"(z)/f'(z) is subordinate to certain analytic function are investigated.
