Reinforcement Learning for Jump‐Diffusions, With Financial Applications

open access: yesMathematical Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We study continuous‐time reinforcement learning (RL) for stochastic control in which system dynamics are governed by jump‐diffusion processes. We formulate an entropy‐regularized exploratory control problem with stochastic policies to capture the exploration–exploitation balance essential for RL.

Mandate Models and the Inelastic Market Hypothesis

open access: yesMathematical Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The aggregate equity market displays only small price elasticity; in particular, macroeconomic allocations in and out of the equity market lead to surprisingly large impacts on stock valuations. Gabaix and Koijen study this phenomenon and provide a theoretical framework to explain the observed price inelasticity. They consider financial agents

Now you see me, now you don't: A critical narrative review of educator identity in health professions education

open access: yesMedical Education, EarlyView.
Abstract Introduction Health professions educators occupy a unique position at the intersection of clinical practice, education and service. Despite their central role, educator identity remains under‐recognised and insufficiently theorised within academic medicine, where clinical expertise and research dominate traditional hierarchies of value.

Orthopedic Mechanophenotype: A Structured Narrative Review of Multiscale Biomechanics, Mechanotransduction, and Clinical Decision‐Making

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, EarlyView.
The orthopedic mechanophenotype framework comprises load exposure, tissue susceptibility, and biological adaptability axes to decode mechanical‐biological crosstalk. It guides clinical phenotyping, targeted intervention, and response monitoring for orthopedic disorders beyond static morphological assessment.

Guiding the AI revolution in periodontology and implant dentistry: Concepts, ethics, accountability, and a roadmap for sustainable adoption

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly gaining attention in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry. Currently developed models can support diagnosis, treatment planning, and maintenance monitoring. However, most of the available literature is based on retrospective and often single‐modality data sets.
