The Dynamics of Carbon Nanostructures at Detonation of Condensed High Explosives
Based on the obtained earlier experimental conductivity graphs at detonation of five different high explosives, an analysis was performed which shows a correlation between the carbon content and the conductivity magnitude.

Production of metal-free diamond nanoparticles [PDF]
In this paper, the controlled production of high-quality metal-free diamond nanoparticles is demonstrated. Milling with tempered steel is shown to leave behind iron oxide contamination which is difficult to remove.

Self‐Assembled Fluorescent Nanodiamond Layers for Quantum Imaging
We developed a simple, scalable method for coating surfaces with fluorescent nanodiamonds. By optimizing the coating process, we created uniform, dense layers that enable high‐resolution magnetic imaging using the nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) center in nanodiamonds. This approach enables the development of cost‐effective quantum‐sensing and imaging substrates

Superconducting Diamond on Silicon Nitride for Device Applications [PDF]
Chemical vapour deposition (CVD) grown nanocrystalline diamond is an attractive material for the fabrication of devices. For some device architectures, optimisation of its growth on silicon nitride is essential.

Nanodiamond additives are dispersed in the aqueous electrolyte to organize water molecules, suppress gas evolution and metal corrosion, and guide zinc to deposit more uniformly. Together with enhanced thermal conductivity for fast heat removal, this strategy reduces temperature rise and degradation, enabling safer, more durable rechargeable zinc metal ...

Detonation nanodiamonds tailor the structural oeder of PEDOT chains in conductive coating layers of hybrid nanoparticles [PDF]
Solid layers of PEDOT–detonation nanodiamond based nanoparticles with an exceptional structural order were produced by means of a template-free polymerization technique. As an efficient multifunctional filler, the nanocrystalline diamond has been shown

Here, we employed organic additives and binders to disperse or passivate hydrogen‐terminated nanodiamonds, thereby addressing the issue of aggregation formation when they are cast on ITO substrate as an electron transport layer in organic solar cells. This results in better film quality, as well as improved device performance and stability.

The seedings of the substrate with a suspension of nanodiamond particles (NDPs) were widely used as nucleation seeds to enhance the growth of nanostructured diamond films. The formation of agglomerates in the suspension of NDPs, however, may have adverse

Nanotechnologies for cultural heritage: nanodiamond for conservation of papers and parchments [PDF]
In this paper we report some tests regarding the feasibility of nanodiamond to act as a cleaning/consolidation agent of papers and parchments. We carried out a series of treatments aiming to develop innovative approaches for de-acidification, cleaning ...

Nanodiamond–silicon nitride composites for CO2 capture technology
Abstract Innovative nanodiamond (ND)–silicon nitride polymer‐derived ceramics with different concentrations of nanocarbon phase were developed within the present work and their performance as adsorbent materials for CO2 was established. The novel preparative approach consists in the synthesis of a polysilsesquiazane in the presence of different ...
