This study demonstrates the ecological value of natural regeneration in the Brazilian Cerrado by analysing the biomass, richness and trophic structure of leaf litter insects across pasture (P), regenerating (R) and native (N) areas. We found that R areas supported insect communities more similar to N habitats than to Ps, with higher richness, greater ...

Temperaturas podem ser correlacionadas por funções tipo leis de potência, e o termo de persistência pode ser caracterizado por uma função de autocorrelação C(t) de variações de temperatura, e t é o tempo entre as observações. Esta função decai como C(t) ~

Radio Frequency Fingerprinting for WiFi Authentication Based on Detrended Fluctuation Analysis
Traditional physical-layer authentication (PLA) approaches primarily rely on a limited set of hardware features, which restricts their robustness and accuracy in dynamic wireless environments.

Abstract This study examines the adaptive market hypothesis in the prewar and wartime Japanese stock market using a new market capitalization‐weighted price index. First, we find that the degree of market efficiency varies over time and with major historical events. This implies that the hypothesis is supported in this market.

Three shades of self‐regulation with unique complex dynamics, drivers and targets for intervention
Abstract Self‐regulated learning (SRL) is an active process involving multiple interacting components that evolve over time, exhibiting characteristics of complex systems such as non‐linearity, emergent behaviour, self‐organization, and hierarchy. These interactions unfold at different temporal levels, each warranting a dedicated lens to capture their ...
