Application of Multifractal Measures to Tehran Price Index
We report an empirical study of Tehran Price Index (TEPIX). To analyze our data we use various methods like as, rescaled range analysis ($R/S$), modified rescaled range analysis (Lo's method), Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (DFA) and generalized Hurst ...

An opportunity index to anticipate when subseasonal predictions are useful
Simultaneously active subseasonal windows of forecast opportunity can be combined into a single opportunity index, which can be used operationally to anticipate enhanced or reduced subseasonal prediction skill. For predictions of temperature anomalies in Switzerland during summer—a region and season with particularly low predictability—skill can nearly

Diagnosing the 11‐year solar cycle's influence on the East Atlantic pattern
A previously unidentified solar‐cycle response in the East Atlantic pattern is found in late winter at lag +3 years with larger amplitude than the NAO response. A statistically significant NAO response to the solar cycle is seen in late winter at lag 0 years.

We investigated whether the strength of oscillations in common synaptic input was explanatory of knee extensor (KE) torque signal complexity during fresh and fatigued submaximal isometric contractions, in adults aged from 18 to 90 years.

Evaluating anisotropy‐based Monin–Obukhov similarity theory over canopies and complex terrain
This study shows that an anisotropy‐based generalization of Monin–Obukhov surface‐layer scaling (SC23) applies readily across a wide range of atmospheric conditions with variable terrain, canopies, and land‐cover complexity. This work focuses on the scaling of velocity variances for 7 years at the 47 sites in the National Ecological Observation Network

We document for the first time how the assimilation of CS2SMOS observations improves the model representation of Arctic sea‐ice thickness (SIT) and its variability: biases are reduced (top row), while excessive variability in the Beaufort Sea and lack of variability in the ice pack are both corrected (bottom row).

Temperaturas podem ser correlacionadas por funções tipo leis de potência, e o termo de persistência pode ser caracterizado por uma função de autocorrelação C(t) de variações de temperatura, e t é o tempo entre as observações. Esta função decai como C(t) ~

Radio Frequency Fingerprinting for WiFi Authentication Based on Detrended Fluctuation Analysis
Traditional physical-layer authentication (PLA) approaches primarily rely on a limited set of hardware features, which restricts their robustness and accuracy in dynamic wireless environments.
