ABSTRACT Background Accessing brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be challenging, especially for underserved patients, which may lead to disparities in neurological diagnosis. Method This mixed‐methods study enrolled adults with one of four neurological disorders: mild cognitive impairment or dementia of the Alzheimer type, multiple sclerosis ...

Energy Harvesting Aided Device-to-Device Communication Underlaying the Cellular Downlink
The specific family of device-to-device (D2D) communication underlying downlink cellular networks eliminates the reliance on base stations for its transmission by allowing direct transmission between two devices in each other's close proximity that reuse

Objective This study aimed to determine if program format (in‐person, virtual, or hybrid) results in differences in 3‐month outcomes of pain, function, quality of life, self‐efficacy, and chair stands in a hip/knee osteoarthritis‐management program. Methods A secondary analysis of the Good Life with osteoArthritis in Denmark (GLA:D) Canada database was

Time-Varying Social-Aware Resource Allocation for Device-to-Device Communication
With the rapid development of wireless mobile communication, local content sharing has become the emerging demand for users who are geographically close. Device-to-device (D2D) communication allows two users to communicate directly with each other.

Objectives Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies. To help patients and providers in the decision‐making process, we developed

Device-to-Device Communication Underlaying Cellular Communications Systems
In this article we propose to facilitate local peer-to-peer communication by a Device-to-Device (D2D) radio that operates as an underlay network to an IMT-Advanced cellular network. It is expected that local services may utilize mobile peer-to-peer communication instead of central server based communication for rich multimedia services.

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.
