Three-Dimensional Color Gamut Visualization of Digital Output Device Based on ICC Profile
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012As color gamut of digital output device greatly affects image appearance, accurate and effective gamut description for output device is intensively required for developing high-quality image reproduction technique based on gamut mapping. In this paper, we present a novel method to determine color gamut of output device by using a specific 3D ...

Extracting the color gamut characteristics of the multi-color output device
IEE Irish Signals and Systems Conference 2005, 2005Current color-printing technologies may use three or more inks, e.g., CMY, CMYK, CMYKLcLm, CMYKB, CMYKRGB. When the number of ink hues exceeds three, there is a usual color-management one-to-many mapping problem. An algorithm was developed for multi-ink printing in which the one-to-many mapping problem was overcome.

Wider color gamut liquid crystal displays with engineered quantum-dot light converting device
2015 Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC), 2015We report much improved color gamut liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with specially engineered low-reabsorption, narrow emission spectrum and high quantum yield colloidal quantum-dot light converting device (QLCD) and its applications to TV displays. By theoretical and experimental optimizations, color gamut as wide as 120% NTSC standard is demonstrated.

71‐3: Curved Kawara‐type Multidisplay with OLED Devices for BT.2020 Color Gamut
SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2017A curved Kawara‐type multidisplay is capable of displaying a seamless image with few visible joints. Organic light‐emitting diode devices that achieve an area ratio of 106% to the BT.2020 color gamut in theu ‘v’ chromaticity diagram are used. Tone correction using machine learning enables the joints to be less visible.

49‐3: Development of Wide Color‐Gamut Green OLED Devices for Adobe and BT2020 Requirements
SID Symposium Digest of Technical PapersThe current commercial panel OLED products are mainly meet DCI‐P3 gamut display, lacking the development of display technology with wide color gamut. In this paper, we fabricated a series of pTSF green devices, which can meet Adobe and BT2020 requirements. The optimal pTSF devices which exhibit excellent performance by distribution trend at CIEx <0.21,
