Interference constrained device-to-device communications [PDF]
This paper considers a scenario in which multiple device-to-device (D2D) users can reuse the uplink resources of a cellular network to transmit directly to their corresponding receivers. The aggregated interference from the D2D users is limited by applying a threshold on the allowable interference in the base station.

Interference-aware distributed device-to-device caching
In this paper, cache placement problem in cellular networks with device to device communications (D2D) is addressed. D2D transmission allows cellular bandwidth reuse which necessitates interference management. We propose a distributed algorithm, where the base station rewards the user terminals for caching content and helping other nearby terminals ...

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Optimizing The Spatial Content Caching Distribution for Device-to-Device Communications
We study the optimal geographic content placement problem for device-to-device (D2D) networks in which the content popularity follows the Zipf law. We consider a D2D caching model where the locations of the D2D users (caches) are modeled by a Poisson ...
