The TREC/KREC assay for the diagnosis and monitoring of patients with DiGeorge syndrome. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
DiGeorge syndrome (DGS) presents with a wide spectrum of thymic pathologies. Nationwide neonatal screening programs of lymphocyte production using T-cell recombination excision circles (TREC) have repeatedly identified patients with DGS.

Postoperative Deep Gluteal Syndrome After Hip Arthroscopic Surgery

open access: yesOrthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, 2020
Background: Deep gluteal syndrome (DGS) is an uncommon source of buttock and groin pain, resulting from entrapment of the sciatic nerve in the deep gluteal space.

Evaluasi Struktur Internal Dimensions of Grace Scale (DGS)

open access: yesDunamis: Jurnal Teologi dan Pendidikan Kristiani, 2020
. Grace is the main and foremost construct in Christian life whose existence cannot be empirically measured. Nevertheless, Bufford, Sisemore, and Blackburn (2017) succeeded in developing a scale that can measure Christian’s experience, belief, and ...

DG-modules over de Rham DG-algebra [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Mathematics, 2014
For a morphism of smooth schemes over a regular affine base we define functors of derived direct image and extraordinary inverse image on coderived categories of DG-modules over de Rham DG-algebras. Positselski proved that for a smooth algebraic variety $X$ over a field $k$ of characteristic zero the coderived category of DG-modules over $ ^\bullet_{X/

Extra virgin olive oil stored in different conditions: Focus on diglycerides

open access: yesItalian Journal of Food Science, 2015
The effects of storage conditions of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) on the isomerization of diglycerides (DGs) have been investigated. Aliquots of EVOO were stored for 14 months under four different conditions: at 20°C in darkness and in light, at 4-6°C ...

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

A Koch Fractal Octagonal Antenna with a Compact Design and Defected Ground Structure (DGS) for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Wireless Usage.

open access: yesJordanian Journal of Computers and Information Technology
This paper introduces a Koch fractal octagonal antenna designed for the Ultrawideband (UWB) Frequency range. The utilization of the Koch fractal in the antenna design contributes to size reduction as well as provides compactness in the antenna for UWB ...

Preliminary investigation on the water retention behaviour of cement bentonite mixtures [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2020
Cement bentonite mixtures are often used to build slurry walls for the containment of both aqueous and non aqueous pollutants, due to their quite low hydraulic conductivity and relatively high ductility and strength.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.
