Vertical Self‐Rectifying Memristive Arrays for Page‐Wise Parallel Logic and Arithmetic Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 8, 6 February 2026.
This study proposes a page‐wise logic‐in‐memory architecture realized in a 3D vertical resistvie random‐access memory array of self‐rectifying memristors. By introducing intra‐ and inter‐page logic primitives, the system enables Boolean and arithmetic operations to be executed directly within the memory.

Simulation‐Based Mastery Learning Improves Emergency Medicine Residents' Ability to Perform Emergency Cricothyrotomy

open access: yesAEM Education and Training, Volume 10, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Emergency cricothyrotomy (EC) is a critical procedure for Emergency Medicine (EM) physicians to master. Simulation‐based mastery learning (SBML), a form of competency‐based education with deliberate practice, has been shown to prepare residents to perform numerous procedures.

Temporal dynamics of white matter hyperintensities related to Alzheimer's disease in adults with Down syndrome

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION White matter hyperintensities (WMH) are common in Down syndrome (DS), yet their longitudinal evolution and associations with Alzheimer's disease (AD) remain unclear. METHODS Longitudinal MRI study, including 80 DS adults and 53 euploid controls. WMH were segmented on serial FLAIR using a longitudinal pipeline.

Intraoperative Abdominal Penetration of the Lag Screw: A Rare Complication During Proximal Femoral Nail Anti‐Rotation Surgery

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Although the proximal femoral nail anti‐rotation (PFNA) is accompanied by several benefits, using the nail is technically challenging and may pose some errors, leading to osteosynthesis failure. Here, we report a critical presentation of an uncommon side effect of PFNA surgery.
