Conservatives, Progressives and Transformers: The Influence of Marketers' Biases on Sustainable Innovation

open access: yesCreativity and Innovation Management, Volume 35, Issue 1, Page 251-276, March 2026.
ABSTRACT The inherent uncertainty of the innovation process, amplified by the complexity of the Anthropocene, means that marketers are likely to be subject to decision‐making biases that can affect sustainable product innovation. In parallel, new approaches to sustainability and innovation management are emerging, aiming to mitigate such biases and ...

Making the Old New Again Through the Process of Recombinant Innovation

open access: yesJournal of Product Innovation Management, Volume 43, Issue 2, Page 290-312, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Academic Summary Recombinant innovation—the process through which atypical and unexpected combinations of knowledge generate novel outcomes—is a critical driver of organizational distinctiveness and market transformation. While prior research has focused on firm‐ and industry‐level mechanisms, less attention has been given to multilevel ...

Spectral Efficiency of Random Time-Hopping CDMA

open access: yes, 2015
Traditionally paired with impulsive communications, Time-Hopping CDMA (TH-CDMA) is a multiple access technique that separates users in time by coding their transmissions into pulses occupying a subset of $N_\mathsf{s}$ chips out of the total $N$ included

Cure Kinetics and Chemorheological Modeling of a Transesterification‐Based Epoxy/Anhydride Vitrimer

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 7, February 15, 2026.
Cure kinetics and chemorheological model predictions of experimental reaction rate and chemoviscosity evolutions. ABSTRACT This study presents the cure kinetics, glass transition temperature (T g ) and chemoviscosity models for an epoxy vitrimer synthesized from DGEBA, methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride (MHHPA), and triethanolamine (TEOA).

The Genetic and Morphological Basis of Local Adaptation to Elevational Extremes in an Alpine Finch

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 2, February 2026.
We investigated morphological and genetic variation in the Sierra Nevada Gray‐crowned Rosy Finch to identify traits important for local adaptation in alpine environments. By combining trait measurements with genome‐wide analyses, we uncovered loci linked to thermoregulation, altitude adaptation, and cold tolerance.

Targeting Cancer Stem Cells to Overcome Chemoresistance

open access: yesInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2018
Cancers are heterogeneous at the cell level, and the mechanisms leading to cancer heterogeneity could be clonal evolution or cancer stem cells. Cancer stem cells are resistant to most anti-cancer treatments and could be preferential targets to reverse ...
