ABSTRACT An eight‐year‐old male red‐handed howler monkey (Alouatta belzebul) underwent whole‐body computed tomography for gastrointestinal signs. Quantitative CT of the lumbar vertebrae opportunistically revealed severe bone hypoattenuation, demineralization, and deteriorated trabecular architecture.
