Computer-Assisted Diagnosis of Strabismus

Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, 1987
ABSTRACT A program for use on a microcomputer was developed to assist in the diagnosis of strabismus. The matrix consists of 41 separate disorders and 59 facts (history and examination findings). The facts are answered in a yes/no format. The relationship between the fact and the disorder is weighted as to whether the fact is always present ...

Computer-assisted diagnosis of early esophageal squamous cell carcinoma using narrow-band imaging magnifying endoscopy

Endoscopy, 2018
Background We developed a computer-assisted diagnosis model to evaluate the feasibility of automated classification of intrapapillary capillary loops (IPCLs) to improve the detection of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).

COMPUTER-ASSISTED ECHOCARDIOGRAPHIC DIAGNOSIS

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2002
Abstract In this paper we present a method to quantify the cardiac blood irrigation through echographic images for heart disease diagnosis. This method relies on the registration of acquired images with a heart model in order to provide a robust segmentation of the cardiac walls, giving the doctor precise and non subjective anatomical information, as

Computer-assisted diagnosis of acute azotemia

Computers and Biomedical Research, 1986
We designed a computer program to make diagnostic suggestions in cases of acute azotemia. The performance of the program was tested in a retrospective manner on 63 patients with acute azotemia. The program correctly identified 90 of 94 diagnoses and made 20 false positive diagnostic suggestions.
