DIAGNOSTIC VITRECTOMY

The histopathologic and cytopathologic study of ocular fluids obtained for diagnostic purposes is presented. The analysis of fluid specimens with millipore filter, celloidin bag-cell block, and transmission electron microscopy techniques has proved to be effective for establishing and confirming clinical diagnoses.

Theranostic Diagnostics

Diagnosing and then treating disease defines theranostics. The approach holds promise by facilitating targeted disease outcomes. The simultaneous analysis of finding the presence of disease pathophysiology while providing a parallel in treatment is a novel and effective strategy for seeking improved medical care.
