Boundary entropy of integrable perturbed SU (2) k WZNW

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We apply the recently developped analytical methods for computing the boundary entropy, or the g-function, in integrable theories with non-diagonal scattering. We consider the particular case of the current-perturbed SU (2) k WZNW model with boundary and

Biphasic Clinical Course of Pediatric Cytomegalovirus‐Associated Immune Thrombocytopenia: Early Poor Treatment Response but Favorable Long‐Term Outcomes

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a recognized trigger of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP); however, its incidence and impact on disease course in children remain controversial. Therefore, we aimed to characterize the clinical course of pediatric patients with CMV‐associated ITP.

Bone Mineral Density After Contemporary Treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia: A Matched Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Reduced bone mineral density (BMD) has been reported in survivors of childhood and young adult acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL); however, data from cohorts treated with contemporary protocols and including matched controls remain limited.

On Condition (G-PWP) [PDF]

open access: yesCategories and General Algebraic Structures with Applications, 2016
Laan in (Ph.D Thesis, Tartu. 1999) introduced the principal weak form of Condition $(P)$ as Condition $(PWP)$ and gave some characterization of monoids by this condition of their acts.

Fundamental Results for Pseudo-Differential Operators of Type 1, 1

open access: yesAxioms, 2016
This paper develops some deeper consequences of an extended definition, proposed previously by the author, of pseudo-differential operators that are of type 1 , 1 in Hörmander’s sense. Thus, it contributes to the long-standing problem of creating

M-matrices and convergence of finite difference scheme for parabolic equation with integral boundary condition

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2020
In the paper, the stability and convergence of difference schemes approximating semilinear parabolic equation with a nonlocal condition are considered.

Discrete decompositions for bilinear operators and almost diagonal conditions [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2001
Using discrete decomposition techniques, bilinear operators are naturally associated with trilinear tensors. An intrinsic size condition on the entries of such tensors is introduced and is used to prove boundedness for the corresponding bilinear operators on several products of function spaces.

Parents of Youth With Cancer Report on Their Psychosocial Care: iSTEPPP Survey Finds Alignment and Gaps With Standards

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The Standards for Psychosocial Care for Children with Cancer and Their Families guide the provision of comprehensive psychosocial care. Parallel to research characterizing implementation of the Standards from the perspective of providers, this study examines implementation of the Standards from the perspective of parents of youth ...

A note on completing quasi-distance and distance matrices

open access: yesSpecial Matrices, 2019
We give a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a quasi-distance matrix where some positive off-diagonal entries have been prescribed. Moreover, we give an algorithm for obtaining such a matrix.

Learning Gain Self-Regulation Iterative Learning Control for Suppressing Singular System Measurement Noise

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, in order to improve the tracking precision and convergence speed of singular systems with measurement noise in the limited interval, an iterative learning control algorithm with learning gain self-regulation is proposed under the condition
