Lipoic acid synthase (lias) can regulate α‐KG levels through lipoylation, thereby negatively regulating HIF‐1α protein levels via PHD under hypoixa. The Hap2 allele of lias exhibits lower expression levels than Hap1, leading to the accumulation of more HIF‐1α protein and thereby enhancing hypoxia tolerance. ABSTRACT Hypoxia stress seriously affects the

A flexible pressure sensor with triple‐gradient design of conductivity, modulus, and dimension in binary micro‐dome pixels is proposed. Based on precisely‐designed CNT/PDMS matrix, the device exhibits a linear sensitivity of 974.1 kPa−1 across range up to 1.8 MPa (R2 > 0.99), offering an effective strategy for potential applications in healthcare ...

All-fiber multifunction differential absorption CO2 lidar integrating single-photon and coherent detection [PDF]
This study demonstrates a differential absorption lidar (DIAL) for CO2 that integrates both single-photon direct detection and coherent detection. Based on all-fiber 1572 nm wavelength devices, this compact lidar achieves detection of CO2 concentration ...

The ErbB family is a subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). In RTKs, ligand binding at the extracellular region triggers diverse cytoplasmic signaling cascades. Exactly how ligand binding is translated into specific signaling outcomes remains incompletely understood. In this issue, Doerner et al.

Asymmetric Whisker‐Inspired Sensor Pairs for Enhanced Airflow Sensing on Drones
This work incorporates asymmetric cross‐sections into a whisker‐inspired sensor pair to enhance airflow sensing. By comparing signals between two offset asymmetric whiskers, the system improves flow heading estimation and identifies the presence of fan‐generated wind during quadrotor flight.

Shared perceptual processes in phoneme and word perception: Evidence from aphasia
Introduction Dissociations between preserved word recognition with impaired phoneme perception have long been noted (e.g., Blumstein, Cooper, Zurif & Caramazza, 1977; Miceli, Gainotti, Caltagirone, & Masullo, 1980). This dissociation is surprising given
