Abstract Background Adjustable‐volume prosthetic sockets have been developed to allow users to accommodate volume fluctuations throughout the day. Improvement in socket fit is thought to enhance the connection between the user's residual limb and prosthesis and may therefore improve postural control and balance.

The cabbage stem flea beetle (Psylliodes chrysocephala) is a major pest of winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus). We tested B. napus and Sinapis alba seedlings for feeding resistance and underlying chemical defenses. S. alba was least damaged, while metabolite profiles revealed resistance‐linked compounds, highlighting breeding potential for insect ...

World Models for Robotic Manipulation: A Survey
World models enable robots to anticipate how candidate actions may alter object configurations, contact states, and scene geometry before physical execution. This survey examines world models for robotic manipulation as action‐conditioned predictive systems and organizes the literature according to predicted representations, interfaces between ...

Abstract Research Summary This study examines how legal design shapes contractual governance in public–private partnership (PPP). We argue that PPP‐specific laws do not simply strengthen institutional safeguards; by varying in detail, they also alter the flexibility available for project‐level contracting.

We introduce C, a practical provably secure block cipher with a slow key schedule. C is based on the same structure as AES but uses independent random substitution boxes instead of a fixed one. Its key schedule is based on the Blum-Blum-Shub pseudo-random generator, which allows us to prove that all obtained security results are still valid when taking

ABSTRACT This paper addresses a gap in the application of systems thinking to higher education programme design. We use the Complexity Theory of Outcome Creation (CTOC), a structured model for working in complexity, to analyse Simon Fraser University's Semester in Dialogue (SiD)—an innovative undergraduate programme applying the ideas of dialogic ...
