Abstract Industrial hemp's return to American agriculture has been accompanied by claims of the crop's carbon neutrality, primarily due to its commercial applications. While carbon can be sequestered within products made with hemp fiber, there is little empirical evidence quantifying greenhouse gas contributions from the crop's production.

ENT1 inhibition links oligodendrocyte lipid metabolism to connectivity in tauopathy
Abstract INTRODUCTION Metabolic dysfunction, altered adenosine signaling, and white matter abnormalities are implicated in tauopathies, but their relationship to network disconnection remains unclear. Myelinating oligodendrocytes may represent a metabolically vulnerable hub linking these processes to circuit dysfunction.

Impact of Particle Morphology on Processing and Performance of Sodium Ion Anodes
Particle morphology of hard carbons (HC) in sodium‐ion batteries (SIB) is shown to govern electrode packing and transport behavior related to sodium metal plating. Spherical particles enable denser electrodes and higher volumetric capacity but increase tortuosity, polarization, and plating risk at higher rates. Nonspherical particles preserve electrode

Seasonal Effect on the Chemical Composition of Lippia alba Volatile Chemotypes
L. alba, a Brazilian medicinal species, is known for its volatile chemotypes, with fewer studies of its nonvolatile composition. Chemical characterization via GC‐MS and LC‐MS of five individuals, during the rainy and dry season, confirm the variability of the volatile composition but the nonvolatile composition was similar, with a discrete seasonal ...
