Existence of diametrically complete sets with empty interior in reflexive and separable Banach spaces

Journal of Functional Analysis, 2020
A bounded non-singleton set \(C\) in a Banach space \(X\) is called \textit{diametrically complete} if, for all \(x\notin C\), we have \(\operatorname{diam}(C\cup\{x\})>\operatorname{diam}(C)\). This notion was introduced already in [\textit{E. Meissner}, Vierteljahrsschr. Naturf.-Ges.

The continuity of binary diametric space of Balinese house in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

City, Culture and Society, 2014
Abstract This paper presents the topological analysis of fourteen Balinese houses in Yogyakarta, Indonesia since 1983–1993. The process of absorption of such Balinese cultural concept as Rwa Bhineda and Nawa Sanga within the Balinese house in Yogyakarta seems to have been applied identical.

On the diametral dimension of weighted spaces of analytic germs

Studia Mathematica, 2016
The author continues his investigation of weighted spaces of analytic germs \( \mathcal H_v(\mathbb R) \) from [Ann. Pol. Math. 106, 223--243 (2012; Zbl 1267.46038)]. There, it has been shown that \( \mathcal H_v(\mathbb R) \) is isomorphic to some \( \Lambda_0(\alpha_n)'_b \), i.\,e., to the strong dual of some power series space of finite type.

Diametral compression behavior of biomedical titanium scaffolds with open, interconnected pores prepared with the space holder method

Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials, 2017
Scaffolds with open, interconnected pores and appropriate mechanical properties are required to provide mechanical support and to guide the formation and development of new tissue in bone tissue engineering. Since the mechanical properties of the scaffold tend to decrease with increasing porosity, a balance must be sought in order to meet these two ...

Spaces Snu, diametral dimension and property Omega bar

2017
This paper investigates two topological invariants in the context of the sequence spaces Snu, which are metric topological vector spaces defined in order to study the regularity of signals. First, it extends the formula already known of the diametral dimension of spaces Snu to some non-locally pseudoconvex ones.

The diametral dimension of a Kthe space with a regular basis and its hypersubspaces

Mathematical Notes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, 1976
The existence of Schwartz-Kothe spaces with a regular basis of the same diametral dimension as their hypersubspaces but not isomorphic to them is proved.
