Polyamines are small aliphatic amines whose metabolic reprogramming is involved in the regulation of various plant cellular reactions. Our previous study showed that polyamines increased lignan production in Linum album; however, little is known about ...

Advances in Mechanochemical Methods for One‐Pot Multistep Organic Synthesis
This review highlights recent advances in mechanochemical methods for multistep organic synthesis, focusing on sequential one‐pot approaches performed by grinding or ball milling. The presented transformations are discussed in terms of efficiency, applicability, and sustainability, assessing both the challenges and potential of solvent‐free one‐pot ...

Electroactivity of phototrophic river biofilms and constitutive cultivable bacteria [PDF]
Electroactivity is a property of microorganisms assembled in biofilms that has been highlighted in a variety of environments. This characteristic was assessed for phototrophic river biofilms at the community scale and at the bacterial population scale ...

Coordinated transcriptional regulation between a reactive oxygen species-responsive gene network and the circadian clock in Arabidopsis thaliana : a thesis presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Biology at Massey University, Plant Biology, New Zealand [PDF]
Most organisms have evolved endogenous biological clocks as internal timekeepers to fine-tune physiological processes to the external environment. Energetic cycles such as photosynthesis and glycolytic cycles are physiological processes that have ...

SFY‐based polyherbal formulation was selected based on fuzzy mathematical model. The best combinations with synergistic effect were optimized and identified by central composite circumscribed design. Network pharmacology and molecular docking‐based approach revealed that the potential mechanisms of decoction against oxidant damage via multicomponent ...

Development and Characterization of a Diamine Oxidase-Based Histamine Biosensor [PDF]
Histamine levels have been suggested as a rapid fish spoilage indicator. Therefore, histamine biosensors based on immobilization of diamine oxidase (DAO) in photocurable poly (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (photoHEMA) film was developed.

Monitoring of the Membrane Potential in Proteoliposomes with Incorporated Cytochrome-c Oxidase Using the Fluorescent Dye Indocyanine [PDF]
A method has been developed to monitor changes of the membrane potential across vesicle membranes in real time. Using the potential-sensitive fluorescent dye indocyanine and on the basis of water/lipid redistribution model, a calculation procedure has been introduced to estimate the membrane potential in vesicles with incorporated cytochrome-c oxidase.

Compared to healthy controls, children with food‐sensitized tolerance and food allergy showed reduced fecal short‐chain fatty acids (SCFAs), particularly butyrate. In an ovalbumin‐sensitized mouse model, butyrate outperformed other SCFAs in alleviating allergic responses.
