Objective We aimed to estimate the prevalence and cumulative incidence of hydroxychloroquine retinopathy (HCQ‐R) and its risk factors among long‐term HCQ users with rheumatic diseases through a systematic review and meta‐analysis of observational studies that used spectral‐domain OCT (SD‐OCT) for screening. Methods A systematic search of PubMed, Scopus,

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

THEORETICAL IMPLICATIONS OF STRESS AND MAGNETIC-FIELD SPLITTING OF GR1-LINE IN DIAMOND [PDF]
The g-value of the excited state associated with the GR1 line is analysed in terms of the Coulson-Kearsley defect-molecule model (1957) for the vacancy in diamond.

Sensing of single nuclear spins in random thermal motion with proximate nitrogen-vacancy centers
Nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond have emerged as valuable tools for sensing and polarizing spins. Motivated by potential applications in chemistry, biology, and medicine, we show that NV-based sensors are capable of detecting single spin targets ...

This study investigates laser shock peening for enhancing fatigue performance of riveted aerospace aluminum joints. A comparative approach with cold expansion combines fatigue testing and synchrotron X‐ray methods. Integrating mechanical testing with residual stress and strain characterization provides insights into how different treatments affect the ...

Tissue equivalent conversion of microdosimeters by Fourier transform
Diamond is considered a promising detector in radiobiological studies. However, the difference in densities between diamond and tissue imply that their energy deposition spectra are not identical, even for diamond and tissues of the same size. The energy

Multiple equilibrium in the Diamond Capital Model
Abstract When the EIS varies with consumption, multiple, even uncountably many, steady-state solutions may be obtained to the Diamond Capital Model. The many equilibria are solutions to a differential equation for the EIS value. This technique has general application.

Process‐Informed Analysis of As‐Built Metal Additive Surface Features
This article introduces a novel method for feature‐based surface texture characterisation directly incorporating manufacturing variables into the feature extraction workflow. This marks a major step towards identifying process‐specific surface properties and their influence on part function and hence a holistic understanding of process–structure ...
