Diamond Discovery Hub and its suggested Diamond OA criteria for journals
Although Diamond Open Access is gaining momentum as a more equitable, fair, inclusive publishing model, there is no universal definition yet of Diamond OA journals. Most prevalent is defining them by zero APC (article processing charges). There’s widespread understanding that absence of APC’s is not enough and that Diamond OA journals should be owned ...

Optically Active Birefringent Polymer–Lipid Hybrid Microparticles With Dual‐Stimuli Responsiveness
The present study reports on geometrically tunable, magnetic and NIR‐stimuli‐responsive anisotropic microparticles that exhibit intrinsic birefringence due to their lamellar crystalline architecture, enabling label‐free detection under a polarized light.

FOS3D: A Fluorescence‐Enabled Toolkit for Characterizing a Three‐dimensional Osteosarcoma Model
FOS3D describes fluorescent (F) osteosarcoma (OS) cells in a tri‐dimensional (3D) model. The study comprises three phases: development, where biofabrication parameters are tuned to achieve cytocompatibility and tumor‐specific mechanical properties in cell‐laden gelatin methacryloyl constructs; validation, where whole‐well fluorescence reading is ...

A previously unrecognized IRE1‐XBP1s‐Slc6a4 signaling axis links endoplasmic reticulum stress to serotonin metabolism, autophagy, and inflammatory osteoclastogenesis. By promoting intracellular serotonin uptake and reducing endogenous 3‐methyladenine accumulation, this pathway accelerates inflammatory bone destruction and provides a promising ...

Differential Tissue‐Coupled Powering for Battery‐Free Injectable Electroceuticals
A thread‐like injectable neural stimulator is powered through differential tissue‐coupled powering (DTCP), which harvests RF‐frequency tissue potentials with an elongated receiver while preserving a injectable cross‐section. The system integrates an ASIC, stimulation electrodes, and a portable transmitter, enabling wireless peripheral nerve stimulation,
