The Diamond Operator – Implementation of Exact Real Algebraic Numbers
Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2005The LEDA number type real is extended by the diamond operator, which allows to compute exactly with real algebraic numbers given as roots of polynomials. The coefficients of these polynomials can be arbitrary real algebraic numbers. The implementation is presented and experiments with two other existing implementations of real algebraic numbers (CORE ...

On the Solutions of the Causal And Anticausaln -Dimensional Diamond Operator
Integral Transforms and Special Functions, 2002In this paper, we consider the solution of the equation \diamondsuit^{k}(P\pm i0) = \sum_{r=0}^{m} C_{r}\diamondsuit^{r}\delta where \diamondsuit^{k} is introduced and named as the Diamond operator iterated k -times and is defined by \diamondsuit^{k} = \left[\left({\partial^{2} \over \partial x_{1}^{2}}+ \cdots + {\partial^{2} \over \partial x_{p}^{2}}\

The Diamond Operator for Real Algebraic Numbers
Real algebraic numbers are real roots of polynomials with integral coefficients. They can be represented as expressions whose leaves are integers and whose internal nodes are additions, subtractions, multiplications, divisions, k-th root operations for integral k, or taking roots of polynomials whose coefficients are given by the value of ...

Diamond Raman oscillator operating at 1178 nm
Optics Letters, 2020In this contribution, we report high-power Raman frequency downconversion based on an Yb-doped fiber amplifier and a linear external diamond Raman cavity. A maximum output power of 136 W with nearly diffraction-limited beam quality was achieved by pumping in quasi-continuous-wave mode with 10% duty cycle and 10 ms on-time duration.

Towards a diamond SOA operational model
2010 IEEE International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing and Applications (SOCA), 2010The triangular operational model with the three roles of service-registry, -provider, and -consumer has been the traditional operational model in Service-oriented Architectures (SOA). The central component in this model, the service registry, plays a passive role. This passive role is due to the lack of adequate information resources.

Diamond Bit Handling and Operation
SPE/IADC Drilling Conference, 1987Abstract The predominant experience throughout the drilling industry is with roller cone rock bits. However, diamond bit use has increased substantially in the past five years and continued increases are likely. Diamond bits are different enough in their design and function that they require distinctly different handling and operating ...
