Shwachman-Diamond syndrome (SDS) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, bone marrow failure and skeletal abnormalities. Patients frequently present failure to thrive, susceptibility to infections and short stature. A persistent or intermittent neutropenia occurs in 88-100% of patients.

Diamond array of diamond elements

2016 IEEE-APS Topical Conference on Antennas and Propagation in Wireless Communications (APWC), 2016
The radiation characteristics of a diamond array (DA) of diamond elements are calculated using the method of moments. It is found that the maximum gain for the DA is higher than that for a conventional grid array antenna (GAA). It is also found that the frequency bandwidth of the gain for the DA is slightly narrower than that for the conventional GAA.
