Research on a new fiber bragg grating partial discharge sensor based on coupling cone and diaphragm packaging

open access: closed22nd International Symposium on High Voltage Engineering (ISH 2021), 2022
Two kinds of fiber Bragg grating sensitizing structures are proposed and packaged to fabricate partial discharge ultrasonic sensors. The sensitizing structures are numerically simulated and optimized.

Linear and nonlinear frequency analyses for the rotating diaphragm of the coupling

Mechanics Based Design of Structures and Machines, 2020
The linear and nonlinear frequencies of the diaphragm are analyzed in this paper. Firstly, the nonlinear vibration equation is set up based on the d’Alembert principle considering the geometric non...

An analytic solution to asymmetrical bending problem of diaphragm coupling

Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, 2008
Because rigidity of either hub or rim of diaphragm coupling is much greater than that of the disk, and asymmetrical bending is under the condition of high speed revolution, an assumption is made that each circle in the middle plane before deformation keeps its radius unchanged after deformation, but the plane on which the circle lies has a varying ...

Deflection of circular diaphragm-type piezoactuators coupling with gas compression in micropumps

Microsystem Technologies, 2017
An analytical solution is formulated to predict the deflection of circular piezoactuators for the sake of gas compression in micropumps. The solution is derived from the energy minimization method and Rayleigh–Ritz method based on the Kirchhoff thin plate theory.

Introduction of an Economical Diaphragm Coupling for Mid-Range Applications

Volume 6: 8th International Power Transmission and Gearing Conference, 2000
Abstract This paper discusses the design, development, and testing of the NC diaphragm coupling. It also outlines the advantages of this coupling and its use in various applications. Non-lubricated couplings have become commonplace in the Power Transmission Industry.

Coupling of waveguide with resonator through diaphragm with slot with dielectric slab

2017 XI International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT), 2017
The problem of coupling of a semi-infinite rectangular waveguide with a resonator through the narrow slot in their common end wall is solved. The slot is completely or partially filled with a dissipative dielectric. The changes in the behavior of the reflection and absorption coefficients of the feeding power are studied as a function of the dielectric

T‐Joint Micromixer Coupled with Deforming Diaphragm

Chemical Engineering & Technology, 2022
AbstractA novel active micromixer design involving an oscillating diaphragm is proposed. A simulation study is performed to determine the effect of diaphragm length, amplitude, and frequency of the oscillating diaphragm on the mixing index. The geometry is a simple T‐joint with an elongated channel for the outlet with a diaphragm on the outlet channel ...
