Diffraction by a thick diaphragm in parallel-plate waveguide

MMET Conference Proceedings. 1998 International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Electromagnetic Theory. MMET 98 (Cat. No.98EX114), 2002
In this paper we discuss the problem of electromagnetic wave diffraction by a thick inhomogeneous diaphragm in a parallel-plate waveguide. The approach is based on the analytical method of boundary singular integral equations. Similar problems are frequently encountered in the computer-aided design of waveguide circuits.

Moment method formulation of thick diaphragms in a rectangular waveguide

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1992
A method of determination of the electrical characteristics of two thick apertures in a rectangular waveguide is presented. The coupled integral equations resulting from the boundary condition of the magnetic field at the four interfaces are transformed into matrix equations using the method of moments. The numerical data on reflection and transmission
