A three‐dimensional biomechanical model of the musculoskeletal system is used to analyse the potential locomotor functions of the small (~1 kg) Late Triassic archosaurian reptile Gracilisuchus stipanicicorum. The study finds that, potentially like the ancestral archosaur, this taxon was probably quadrupedal, plantigrade and neither strongly sprawling ...

A novel mortise‐tenon diaphyseal prosthesis enables ultra‐short osteotomy for forearm bone metastases, providing stable fixation with significant pain relief and functional recovery. This approach preserves bone stock and demonstrates excellent safety, with no implant failure, local recurrence, or major complications during mid‐ to long‐term follow‐up.

Osteoblast‐derived matricellular protein osteomodulin (OMD) critically regulates bone remodeling homeostasis via directly and competitively binding to RANKL, the master cytokine driving osteoclast formation. OMD shares overlapping binding sites on RANKL with osteoprotegerin and functional receptor RANK.
