Revize zástupců rodu Diplocynodon [Diapsida, Crocodylia] z území České republiky.
2016The genus Diplocynodon is a basal alligatoroid with a range of endemic distribution in Europe. The oldest known founds are from Late Palaeocen and the youngest known founds are from Late Miocene. Fossils of this specimen are known also from the Czech republic. In the Master thesis were collected more than 600 founds, mostly fragmentary.

Late Triassic drepanosauromorphs and the paraphyly of bird-headed reptiles (Diapsida: ‘Avicephala’)
The chameleon-like drepanosauromorph reptiles show some of the most extreme anatomical specializations for an arboreal lifestyle in tetrapods. Despite their occurrence in the Late Triassic of Europe and North America, they are currently considered as the sister-group to weigeltisaurid gliding reptiles from the Late Permian, forming the clade Avicephala.Buffa, Valentin +3 more
