Optical gating with organic building blocks : A quantitative model for the fluorescence modulation of photochromic perylene bisimide dithienylcyclopentene triads [PDF]
We investigated the capability of molecular triads, consisting of two strong fluorophores that were covalently linked to a photochromic molecule, for optical gating.

Photochromic Diarylethene‐doped SU‐8 for Rewritable Optics and Integrated Photonic Switching
A CMOS‐compatible photochromic host–guest material platform is realized by incorporating diarylethene molecules into SU‐8 photoresist. Reversible photoisomerization enables light‐programmable optical absorption, allowing rewritable optical patterning and port‐selective attenuation in integrated waveguides.

Single-molecule detection of dihydroazulene photo-thermal reaction using break junction technique [PDF]

Supramolecular phosphorescent trinuclear copper(I) pyrazolate complexes for vapochromic chemosensors of ethanol [PDF]
We highlight that by using supramolecular single crystals of phosphorescent trinuclear copper(I) pyrazolate complexes with different molecular structures (2A-E), vapochromic chemosensors were successfully designed for sensing ethanol with high sensing ...

Photoisomerization‐induced solubility change, which has not previously been reported for P‐type photochromic molecules, is demonstrated for a diarylethene (DAE) derivative. The closed‐form is markedly less soluble than the open‐form, giving a 10‐fold solubility difference in n‐octane at room temperature. Thermodynamic analysis combining theoretical and
