Abstract The formation of azines in the reaction of diazoethane with α-diazo- p -nitroacetophenone and α-diazo- p -nitropropiophenone has been confirmed by the elucidation of the nature of certain of their further reaction products.

Diazo Compounds in Continuous‐Flow Technology
ChemSusChem, 2014AbstractDiazo compounds are very versatile reagents in organic chemistry and meet the challenge of selective assembly of structurally complex molecules. Their leaving group is dinitrogen; therefore, they are very clean and atom‐efficient reagents. However, diazo compounds are potentially explosive and extremely difficult to handle on an industrial ...

Reaction of Diazo Compounds with Organoboron Compounds
Synthesis, 2013The transition-metal-free reactions of diazo compounds with organoboron compounds are reviewed. This type of reaction provides an alternative approach for the formation of C–C, C–B, and C–Si bonds. Moreover, by using tosylhydrazones as diazo compound precursors and boronic acids/esters as the boron substrates, this type of reaction becomes of practical

Aliphatic fluoro diazo compounds Communication 2. Perfluoro(?-diazo ketones)
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences, USSR Division of Chemical Science, 19651. By the action of 2-diazo-1,1,1-trifluoroethane on perfluoro carboxylic anhydrides a number of perfluoro(α-diazo ketones) were obtained. 2. With the case of 3-diazohexafluoro-2-butanone as example, some chemical properties of perfluoro(α-diazo ketones) were investigated.

When diazo compounds meet with organoboron compounds
Pure and Applied Chemistry, 2017Abstract Transition-metal free reactions of diazo compounds with organoboron compounds provide some unique approaches for the formation of C–C, C–B and C–Si bonds. With N-tosylhydrazones as the precursors for non-stabilized diazo compound, this type of reaction becomes practically useful in organic synthesis.
