Metal-Free Visible-Light-Induced Construction of Difluoro-Containing Dibenzazepines

Organic Letters, 2019
A metal-free photocatalytic protocol for efficient construction of difluoro-containing dibenzazepines is developed. The transformation is redox-neutral and environmentally benign, has a wide range of substrate scope, proceeds at room temperature under irradiation of visible light, and furnishes dibenzazepine derivatives in mild to excellent yield.

Effects of Notch signaling pathway inhibition by dibenzazepine in acute experimental toxoplasmosis

Tissue and Cell, 2022
Notch signaling pathway plays a crucial role in cellular fate across species, being important for the differentiation and development of several cell types. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of Notch inhibition pathway by dibenzazepine (DBZ) in histological and inflammatory alterations and, tissue parasitism in acute Toxoplasma gondii ...

A free radical route to the benzazepines and dibenzazepines

Tetrahedron Letters, 1993
Abstract Free radical ring expansion of six membered azocycles provides a new entry to the preparation of benzazepines and dibenzazepines.

Chromatographic modelling of interactions between melanin and phenothiazine and dibenzazepine drugs

Biomedical Chromatography, 1995
AbstractDifferences in drug‐melanin interactions were determined for 13 phenothiazine neuroleptics and 2 dibenzazepine thymoleptics by means of high‐performace liquid chromatography. The chromatographic column was packed with a stationary phase obtained by chemical immobilization of synthetic L‐dopa melanin on silica particles.

Hexamethonium-Type Allosteric Modulators of the Muscarinic Receptors Bearing Lateral Dibenzazepine Moieties

Archiv der Pharmazie, 2001
Alkane-bisammonium compounds carrying lateral phthalimido substituents are known to have a high affinity for the allosteric binding site of the acetylcholine M2 receptor. The purpose of this study was to replace the lateral phthalimido moieties with rigid tricyclic skeletons of a large volume in order to learn more about the function of the lateral ...

Synthesis and Calorimetry of Some Derivatives of Dibenzazepine

1970
Dibenzazepine consists of two aromatic rings connected by a single double bond bridge. The aromatic rings are prevented from assuming a planar configuration by an imide nitrogen bridge. This is shown in the drawing of a model of propionyl dibenzazepine in Figure 1. Construction of such models indicates that substitution on the nitrogen may give rise to

Rational Design and Synthesis of Potent Dibenzazepine Motifs as β-Secretase Inhibitors

Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2009
We have identified small-molecule dibenzazepine inhibitors of beta-secretase (BACE1). These BACE1 inhibitors possess two key salient features. The first is a seven-membered heterocyclic ring fused to two aromatic rings representing the P3-P2 residues. The second is an amide and/or amide bioisostere representing the P1' residue.

[Anti-arrhythmia and antifibrillatory properties of dibenzazepine derivatives].

Kardiologiia, 1986
Antiarrhythmic and antifibrillation properties of bonnecor, a derivative of dibenzepin, were studied in comparison with ethmozine, quinidine and novocainamide, using various experimental arrhythmia models. Bonnecor activity was somewhat smaller than that of ethmozine, and much greater than that of quinidine and novocainamide in the mixed ...
