Non-monotonic evolution of multipartite entanglement under the Unruh effect

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We investigate the behavior of tetrapartite entanglement in a four-qubit Dicke state under relativistic motion by employing the Unruh-DeWitt detector model, where one detector undergoes uniform acceleration.

Conspecific cueing or cooperative feeding?—Foraging stable flies are visually attracted to conspecific flies

open access: yesMedical and Veterinary Entomology, Volume 40, Issue 3, Page 512-529, September 2026.
In two‐choice laboratory bioassays, food‐deprived and CO2‐stimulated stable flies were offered paired landing platforms that were baited or not (control) with conspecific flies. The presence of conspecifics prompted the attraction and landing of foraging stable flies.

Health Message Receptivity and Health Disparities as a Multiple‐Mind Problem: An Interpersonal Persuasion Approach

open access: yesSocial and Personality Psychology Compass, Volume 20, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Health messages can only improve health when audiences engage with them. Yet, receptivity to health messages is not uniform, and unequal engagement may contribute to health disparities. We approach these problems through the lens of interpersonal persuasion: health communication unfolds between message sources and recipients embedded in social,

Electronic superradiance mediated by nuclear dynamics

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Superradiance, in which the collective behavior of emitters can generate enhanced radiative decay, was first predicted by a model, now known as the Dicke model, that contains a collection of two-level systems (the emitters) all interacting with the same ...

Bulk Viscous Cosmological Model in Brans-Dicke Theory with New Form of Time Varying Deceleration Parameter

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2017
We have presented FRW cosmological model in the framework of Brans-Dicke theory. This paper deals with a new proposed form of deceleration parameter and cosmological constant Λ.

Quantitative approach for the Dicke-Ising chain with an effective self-consistent matter Hamiltonian

open access: yesSciPost Physics
In the thermodynamic limit, the Dicke-Ising chain is known to map exactly onto an effective self-consistent matter Hamiltonian with the photon field acting solely as a self-consistent effective field.

Impact of star pressure on $$\gamma $$ γ in modified gravity beyond post-Newtonian approach

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We offer a concrete example exhibiting marked departure from the Parametrized Post-Newtonian (PPN) approximation in a modified theory of gravity. Specifically, we derive the exact formula for the Robertson parameter $$\gamma $$ γ in Brans–Dicke gravity ...

Solving the k-Hitting Set Problem with Dicke State Quantum Search

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings
An algorithm called Dicke state quantum search for the hitting set problem (DSQS-HSP), generates quantum circuits to solve the k-hitting set problem (k-HSP), by initializing the working qubits in an n-qubit Dicke state Dkn of exactly k qubits in 1.

Cooperative interactions in dense thermal Rb vapour confined in nm-scale cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This thesis presents an investigation of the fundamental interaction between light and matter, realised with a rubidium vapour confined in a cell whose thickness (in the propagation direction) is less than the optical wavelength.
